About this site
Just off North Avoca, this wreck sits in 18 meters of water, offering an exciting dive for all levels. The Ss Advance is a small steamship broken into sections, now covered in colorful sponges and soft corals. Schools of yellowtail and trevally dart around the wreck, while wobbegong sharks often rest on the sandy bottom nearby. Visibility is usually good, and mild currents make for relaxed exploration. The shallow depth allows extended bottom time to admire the marine growth and resident marine life. Perfect for wreck lovers and photographers.
