About this site
St. George Reef lies along the Paphos District coastline of southwest Cyprus, near the village of Peyia in the area known for its sea caves and headlands. This stretch of coast faces the Mediterranean and is typically accessed by boat from the harbours around Paphos and Latchi. Divers here have reported black longspine urchins, Indian lionfish, marbled crabs, ornate wrasse, painted combers, Red Sea goatfish, and rivulated rabbitfish on the reef.
