About this site
St. Leon-Rot See is a former gravel extraction lake near the town of St. Leon-Rot in the Rhein-Neckar-Kreis district of Baden-Württemberg, southwestern Germany, in the area between Heidelberg and Sinsheim. Like many of the region's flooded quarry lakes, it has become a local dive site, with a wreck as one of its attractions. The lake reaches a maximum depth of around 25 metres, and the dive is rated intermediate.
