Koh Tang lies off the coast of Koh Kong province in southwestern Cambodia, in the Gulf of Thailand near the Cambodia-Thailand maritime border. The island sits well offshore and is reached by longer boat trips from the mainland, with dive access to the area still relatively limited compared to more developed parts of the Cambodian coast.
