About this site
Stingray Point sits off Utila Island, part of the Bay Islands chain off the Caribbean coast of Honduras. Utila lies southwest of Roatan and is known as a base for reef diving along its fringing coral shelf. This site reaches a maximum depth of around 15.2 metres and is rated a beginner dive, making it an accessible spot along the island's shelf. Divers have reported common lionfish, green morays, schoolmaster snapper, stoplight parrotfish, and yellowhead wrasse around the site.
