Sundhäuser See is a flooded former quarry or gravel pit near Nordhausen in the northern part of Thuringia, Germany, well away from any coastline. It reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated as an intermediate dive, making it deeper than many of the region's other flooded pits. Like similar inland sites in this part of Germany, it draws local dive clubs for training and recreational diving.
