Sunset Rocks lies along the coast of Mahe Island near Glacis, on the main island of the Seychelles archipelago in the western Indian Ocean. Dive sites along this stretch of coastline are typically reached by short boat trips from the island's harbors. Divers here have reported checkerboard wrasse, dusky surgeonfish, Dussumier's rockskipper, Indian bullethead parrotfish, Indian redfin butterflyfish, powder blue tang, semicircle angelfish, spotfin squirrelfish, striped surgeonfish, and threadfin butterflyfish around the rocks.
