Tahua Point sits along the coastline of Tidore Island in the Maluku (Moluccas) province of eastern Indonesia, a volcanic island in the Tidore-Ternate group off the western coast of Halmahera. The area is typically reached by boat from coastal settlements on Tidore, within a region of the Molucca Sea known for its steep volcanic shorelines. The site is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres, generally rated intermediate.
