About this site
Tanjung Arus lies off Talisei, a small island in the Bunaken Manado Tua marine area north of Manado in North Sulawesi, within the reef systems of the Bunaken National Park region, an area of volcanic islands and channel currents between Sulawesi's mainland and its offshore islands. The site is a wall dive reaching a maximum depth of around 30 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported bumphead parrotfish, leaf scorpionfish, leopard and zebra sharks, Napoleon wrasse, pufferfish, and tuna along the wall, alongside lionfish, scorpionfish, and stonefish, all of which also stand as hazards to watch for underwater.
