About this site
Tauro lies on the southwest coast of Gran Canaria in the Canary Islands, close to the resort areas of Puerto Rico and Playa de Tauro. The seabed here is part of the volcanic coastline typical of this stretch of the island, shaped by the Atlantic swell that reaches the southern shore.
