About this site
Socorro Island lies in the Revillagigedo Archipelago off the Pacific coast of Mexico, roughly 240 miles south of Cabo San Lucas, and dive sites here are reached almost exclusively by liveaboard. The archipelago is known for big pelagic encounters, including manta rays, sharks, and seasonal humpback whales, given its position in open ocean far from the mainland.
