About this site
The Canyons lies within the Great Barrier Reef off the Queensland coast, in the vicinity of the Cairns and Port Douglas dive grounds, reached by boat from those departure points. The reef system in this part of the Coral Sea shelf is made up of outer and mid-shelf reefs typically accessed on day trips or liveaboard runs out of far north Queensland.
