About this site
The Cavern lies along the coast of Bohol Island in the Visayas region of the central Philippines, not far from the well known dive areas around Panglao and Balicasag to the south. It is a cave site reaching a maximum depth of around 50 metres and is rated technical. Divers here have reported damselfish, pufferfish, and triggerfish around the site, and whale sharks have also been noted in the area, though sightings of the latter are worth treating as occasional rather than typical. Local operators running trips out of Bohol's coastal towns service this and other nearby reef and rock formations.
