About this site
Loch Long is a sea loch on Scotland's west coast, cutting inland from the Firth of Clyde through Argyll and Bute. The Caves site sits along its shoreline and reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres, and it is rated an advanced dive. The loch's steep, forested banks and cold, sheltered waters are typical of the sea lochs in this part of the Clyde estuary.
