The Creggans lies within the sea lochs of Argyll and Bute, on Scotland's west coast, an area cut through with deep, sheltered inlets that drop quickly into cold, dark water. This part of Argyll is popular with Scottish divers for its combination of loch and open coast sites reachable from small harbours and slipways along the shore.
