About this site
The Edge lies off Alor Island near Ternate in East Nusa Tenggara, part of the Alor archipelago known for its strong currents and deep straits between islands. Sites in this region are typically reached by boat from Kalabahi or from liveaboards working the Alor and Pantar strait area, where the seabed drops quickly into deep water close to shore. The Edge itself reaches a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported lionfish along the site.
