About this site
This dive spot off Tahiti features stunning coral formations teeming with vibrant gorgonian sea fans, giving the site its name. The clear Pacific waters offer excellent visibility, often exceeding 30 meters. Divers encounter reef sharks, eagle rays, and colorful tropical fish among the dramatic underwater topography. Currents can be strong, making this an ideal drift dive for experienced divers. The site's steep drop-offs and overhangs create exciting exploration opportunities. Water temperatures stay warm year-round, averaging 26-28°C. The healthy coral ecosystem makes this a prime location for underwater photography.
