About this site
West Okoboji Lake is a deep glacial lake in the Iowa Great Lakes region of Dickinson County, in northwest Iowa near the town of Arnolds Park. It is known for being one of the few naturally deep lakes in the state, drawing local divers to explore its clear spring-fed waters. The Lost Sail Boat marks a submerged sailboat somewhere along the lake bottom, one of several informal dive sites used by area dive shops for training and recreational dives.
