About this site
The Plateau lies among the islands off Trat and Kantang District in the Andaman Sea, near Ko Libong and Rok Yai Island, part of the Trang province island group known for limestone islands and coastal reef systems reached by boat from the mainland. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 70 metres and is rated a technical dive, with strong currents reported. Reef fish here include barracuda, blackspotted puffer, checkerboard wrasse, golden rabbitfish, greencheek and swarthy parrotfish, Indo-Pacific sergeant major, moon wrasse, Moorish idol, and ocellaris anemonefish, alongside occasional sightings of manta ray and Napoleon wrasse.
