About this site
The Rip is a wall dive in the Cocos (Keeling) Islands, the remote Australian territory atoll in the eastern Indian Ocean, reached by boat from the small settlements on the atoll's islands given the isolation of this stretch of ocean. It tops out at around 15 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have reported grouper and leopard, or zebra, sharks along the wall here.
