About this site
The Smalls is a group of low rocky islets in the Celtic Sea some 20 kilometres off the Pembrokeshire coast of Wales, marked by a well known lighthouse first built in the 18th century. The area sits well offshore in open water beyond St Brides Bay, exposed to Atlantic swell and tidal streams running through the Celtic Sea approaches. Boats reaching this ground typically depart from Pembrokeshire harbours such as Milford Haven or Martin's Haven. The dive here reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner site.
