Thumb Rock lies in the Caribbean Sea off Tortola in the British Virgin Islands, taking its name from a rocky feature typical of the reef and boulder formations scattered through this stretch of the BVI. It is a reef dive reaching a maximum depth of around 18 metres, rated as suitable for beginners.
