About this site
Tiga Natu lies off Bangka Island, a small island north of Sulawesi's mainland tip in Indonesia, within the broader Bangka and Bunaken diving area near Manado. The waters here sit at the edge of the Celebes Sea and Bangka Strait, reached by boat from resorts along the island's coast. The reef reaches a maximum depth of around 28 metres, and divers have reported strong current running through the site, so timing with the tide matters here. Manta rays have also been spotted at Tiga Natu, though sightings are not a given on every dive.
