About this site
Tiger Cave lies along the Kwazulu-Natal coast of South Africa, in the stretch of Indian Ocean shoreline south of Durban known for its rocky reefs and boat-launch dive operations. Sites in this part of the coast are typically reached from towns such as Scottburgh or Park Rynie. The dive reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres, and divers have reported guitarfish, nudibranchs, scorpionfish, and stonefish along its reef and cave formations.
