About this site
Tonga Point lies along the coast of Siquijor island in the Visayas region of the Philippines, a wreck site reached by boat from towns along the shoreline. It sits at a maximum depth of around 18 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported a wide range of life here, including bumphead parrotfish, eagle rays, frogfish, grouper, and Napoleon wrasse, alongside smaller reef residents such as blacksaddle tobies, blackstriped cardinalfish, disappearing wrasse, orangeback wrasse, and gobies like the candycane dwarfgoby, ringeye pygmygoby, and Stobbs' pygmygoby.
