About this site
Tubes lies off Queensland, in the Lady Elliot Island area near the southern end of the Great Barrier Reef, within a stretch of reef known for its coral bommies and channels reached by boat from the island. It is a beginner dive reaching a maximum depth of around 19 metres. Divers have reported tight tunnels as a feature of the site, along with sightings of glassfish, moray eels, and wobbegong sharks.
