About this site
Turtle Point lies off Tenggol Island, a small island off the coast of Terengganu on Malaysia's east coast, in the South China Sea. The island sits within an area seasonally closed to diving during the monsoon months, and dive operators typically run trips out from the Terengganu mainland. The site sits over a reef bottom with a maximum depth of around 16.5 metres and is rated a beginner dive. Divers have reported angelfish, eagle rays, leopard or zebra sharks, nudibranchs, and octopus here.
