About this site
Turtle Rock lies off the coast of Leyte in the Visayas region of the Philippines, a reef site reached by small boats operating out of the coastal barangays that dot this part of the island. It reaches a maximum depth of around 22 metres and is rated an intermediate dive. Nudibranchs are a regular find here, and divers have also reported flying gurnards, ghost pipefish, and moray eels along the reef.
