About this site
The Twin Barges Wreck lies off Beau Vallon on the northwest coast of Mahe, the largest of the granitic Seychelles islands, and is reached by a short boat trip from the bay. It sits on a sandy bottom with a maximum depth of around 21.5 metres, making it a beginner-friendly dive. Divers have reported angelfish, octopus, parrotfish, scorpionfish, and sweetlips around the barges, and boat traffic in the area has also been noted as something to watch for on the surface.
