About this site
A sunken WWII German U-boat lies at 30 meters off Porto’s coast, encrusted with marine growth. The wreck is largely intact, offering eerie swim-throughs and tight passages for advanced divers. Schools of conger eels and large pollock hover around the structure, while occasional octopuses hide in crevices. Strong Atlantic currents sweep the site, requiring good buoyancy control. Visibility varies but often reaches 10 meters. The wreck’s history and thriving marine life make it a compelling dive for wreck enthusiasts.
