About this site
Plavnik is a small island in the Kvarner Gulf, off the coast of the Primorje-Gorski Kotar region of Croatia, lying between the islands of Krk and Cres. Veli Pin refers to a point along its shoreline, reached by boat from nearby coastal towns such as those on Krk. The island itself is uninhabited and known mostly for its bare, rocky terrain above the waterline.
