Vilamendhoo Thila

Vilamendhoo Thila lies in Ari Atoll in the Maldives, near the island of Vilamendhoo, which hosts a well known resort on the atoll's eastern rim. Thila sites in this part of the Maldives are typically coral pinnacles rising from the atoll floor toward the surface, drawing dive boats from the surrounding island resorts. This one reaches a maximum depth of around 30 metres over a reef bottom and is rated an intermediate dive. Divers have also reported sharp corals along the site, worth keeping in mind when moving close to the reef structure.
