About this site

Wailua Wall offers a dramatic underwater landscape off Oahu's coast, where steep lava rock formations plunge into the deep blue. Schools of yellow tang and butterflyfish dart along the vibrant coral-covered walls, while eagle rays and white-tip reef sharks occasionally glide by. The site's strong currents attract pelagic action, making it ideal for drift diving. Visibility often exceeds 100 feet, revealing lava tubes and overhangs teeming with marine life. Depths range from 30 to 100 feet, suitable for intermediate divers. The mix of volcanic terrain and abundant sea creatures creates an unforgettable Pacific dive experience.
