Wall Street

Wall Street is a wall dive on Grand Cayman, part of the well-known drop-off system along the island's coast where the shallow shelf gives way to deep water. Divers typically start on the reef top in the range of 12 to 18 metres before dropping over the edge, drifting along a sheer face cut with swim-throughs and sponge-covered ledges. Expect the usual Cayman wall fauna, including turtles, eagle rays, and reef fish, with the deep blue water beyond the wall drawing larger pelagics on occasion. Because the site involves open water along a vertical drop and a boat entry, it suits divers comfortable with depth and buoyancy control rather than complete beginners.
