Wananavu House Reef

Wananavu House Reef sits off Rakiraki on the northern coast of Viti Levu, Fiji, facing the Vatu-i-Ra passage between Viti Levu and Vanua Levu. This stretch of coast is known for its proximity to that channel, which feeds a number of dive sites in the area, and the reef here is typically accessed directly from shore at the Wananavu Beach Resort. It is rated a beginner dive, reaching a maximum depth of around 24.4 metres. Divers have reported octopus and squid on the reef, along with reef fish such as fiveline, threespot, and wolf cardinalfish, pinstriped wrasse, Dussumier's rockskipper, and nocturnal gobies moving over the bottom after dark.
