About this site
A vibrant dive site off Lanai, Wash Rock features dramatic lava formations and abundant marine life. Schools of tropical fish swirl around the rocky pinnacles, while eagle rays and white tip reef sharks often glide past. The clear Pacific waters offer excellent visibility, with depths ranging from shallow reefs to deeper drop-offs. Lava tubes and arches create exciting swim-throughs, and occasional turtle sightings add to the experience. Currents can be moderate, making it ideal for intermediate divers. The site’s rich biodiversity and striking underwater terrain make it a must-dive in Hawaii.
