About this site
Lake Lanier is a large reservoir in northern Georgia, created by the Army Corps of Engineers with the construction of Buford Dam on the Chattahoochee River in the 1950s. The West Bank site sits somewhere along the lake's shoreline, one of many access points divers use around the reservoir.
