About this site
White Rock lies off Sri Lanka's northeast coast near Trincomalee, in a stretch of coastline known for its rocky outcrops and boat access points serving the surrounding bays. The site sits over a rocky bottom and reaches a maximum depth of around 10 metres, making it a beginner dive. Sea turtles are a regular sighting here, and divers have also reported cuttlefish, octopus, reef sharks, and stingrays around the rock.
