About this site
Whyalla sits on the eastern side of the Eyre Peninsula in South Australia, on the shores of upper Spencer Gulf. The area is best known for the waters offshore, which draw divers and snorkellers each year for the seasonal aggregation of giant Australian cuttlefish near Point Lowly, just north of the city.
