About this site
Willow Beach sits along the Colorado River in Mohave County, Arizona, just downstream of Hoover Dam within the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. It is a shore access point on the river rather than a lake or ocean site, popular with anglers and boaters as well as divers. The stretch of river here is fed by cold water released from the dam upstream.
