About this site
Windmill Reef sits off Guanaja in the Bay Islands, offering vibrant Caribbean diving. The reef slopes from shallow coral gardens to dramatic walls dropping beyond 30 meters. Expect schools of tropical fish, eagle rays, and occasional reef sharks. Healthy hard and soft corals thrive here, with sponges and sea fans adding color. Currents can be moderate, making it ideal for drift diving. Visibility often exceeds 30 meters. The site suits all experience levels, with shallows for beginners and deep walls for advanced divers. Nearby pinnacles attract larger pelagics. Water temperatures stay warm year-round.
