About this site
Wonderful Reef sits off Guanaja, one of the Bay Islands of Honduras in the western Caribbean, an island group known for fringing coral reefs and drop-offs along the barrier reef system. Guanaja lies northeast of Roatan and is reached by boat from the island's dive operations. The site reaches a maximum depth of around 19.8 metres. Divers have also reported dolphins, moray eels, nurse sharks, and stingrays around the reef, though sightings vary by trip.
