About this site
WW2 Salvages lies off Kalymnos Island in the Dodecanese group, in the South Aegean, reached by boat from harbor towns such as Pothia and Masouri along the island's limestone coastline. Divers here have reported black longspine urchins, dusky spinefoot, Indian lionfish, red squirrelfish, rivulated rabbitfish, and worm sea cucumbers among the marine life on the site. The surrounding bays on Kalymnos's western and southern shores have become a focus for local diving, with this site forming part of that developing network.
