About this site
Yani Shark is a wall dive site off Agatti, an island and coral atoll in the Lakshadweep archipelago off India's southwestern coast in the Arabian Sea. The site drops along the atoll's outer reef slope to a maximum depth of around 40 metres and is rated an advanced dive. Agatti's lagoon and surrounding reef are known generally for their coral formations and clear tropical waters, and the island's airstrip, one of the few in Lakshadweep, makes it a common access point for diving in the wider archipelago.
