About this site

Yellow Tail lies off Little Corn Island, a small island on Nicaragua's Caribbean shelf near its larger neighbor Big Corn Island, reached by boat from the mainland port of Bluefields. The site sits over reef structures typical of the western Caribbean and reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres. Divers here have reported barracuda, eagle rays, jacks and amberjack, lobster, nurse sharks, stingrays, triggerfish, and even dolphins passing through.
