Karavas is a coastal village in the Kyrenia District on the north coast of Cyprus, just west of Kyrenia town along the Mediterranean shoreline. The area's rocky coastline and small bays are typical of this stretch of the northern Cypriot coast, backed by the Kyrenia mountain range rising just inland.
