About this site

Ampo is a reef dive site off Southern Leyte, in the Philippines, along a stretch of coastline in the Visayas region facing the Bohol Sea. It reaches a maximum depth of around 18 metres over a reef bottom and is rated a beginner dive. Divers here have reported barracuda, manta rays, humphead wrasse, parrotfish, thresher sharks, and other wrasse species around the reef.
