About this site

Aquarium is one of the most popular dive sites in the Seychelles, off Mahe, about 5 to 10 minutes by boat from Beau Vallon bay. It is open to divers of all levels and takes its name from its varied marine life.

The site has three coral reefs and a depth of about 7 to 13 m, which makes it an easy, relaxed dive and a good place for beginner or intermediate freedivers.

Unusual finds among the corals include frogfish, the Indian walkfish and emperor shrimp. Turtles are common, and a couple of resident turtles live here, including a hawksbill. Tropical reef fish are plentiful.
