Arch lies off the Hanover coast of Jamaica, on the island's northwest shore along the Caribbean Sea. Divers here have reported sightings of longspined porcupinefish, schoolmaster snapper, bluehead wrasse, and sergeant majors around the site, along with red cushion sea stars and Sally Lightfoot crabs on the rock and reef surfaces, and Atlantic ghost crabs and Caribbean land hermit crabs near the shoreline. The name suggests a rock or coral formation that divers can pass through, consistent with how such sites are typically named across the region.
