Grand Canyon is a shore dive site with a maximum depth of 14 metres, suited to Open Water divers and above. The site is made up of a maze of rock channels and gorges that lead through to a main canyon cavern area, where light streams down through the rocks overhead.
The rocky terrain of channels and gorges gives the dive its distinctive character, with divers swimming through the enclosed canyon passages before reaching the open cavern section.
Marine life at Grand Canyon includes moray eels, octopus, grouper, rays, barracuda in larger schools, and nudibranch, with the rock formations providing shelter for many of these species.
